PRIVATE PILOT PPL (H)
With the private pilot license you get the privileges to make private, non-commercial flights.
After training, at least 2 hours of flying are required annually, including a verification flight performed with an examiner.

To obtain the PPL-H private pilot license it will be necessary to complete a theoretical part and a part of flight practice.
The candidate must:

be in possession of a medical certificate of at least class 2 qualification,
-
must be 17 years old at the time of the exam,
-
must have passed the exams concerning the theoretical part.

For the practical part, the following will be carried out:

at least 45 total flight hours,
-
35 hours will be carried out with the type of helicopter with which the practical exam will take place,
-
10 hours of flight will be with the function of commander (solo flight),
-
a maximum of 5 hours can be performed on a simulator.
The practice will take place on a helicopter owned by Simplon Air while the examination flight will be conducted by an authorized examiner. Practice flights can be carried out with your own helicopter.

TRAINING PROGRAM

orientation interview and dual-command test lesson on a helicopter model of your choice,

general planning of the course together with the instructor,
-
verification of medical suitability,
-
start of practical training and attendance of theoretical and radiotelephony courses,
-
theoretical exam at the aeronautical authority and practical exam of radiotelephony,
-
flight exam with examiner.
The dates and times of the practical lessons are agreed directly with the instructor, not with the supply base.
